Verizon Wireless wanted to create a prototype store that would be a customer-focused product showcase. Mayfield Heights, a suburb of Cleveland, Ohio, was selected for the location because it presented a solid cross section of the Verizon Wireless demographic. Among the many challenges presented by the design firm’s new prototype store was a curved, bean shaped product demo bar with a compound curve Corian® solid surface top – something that had never been done before! Even Dupont’s Corian® product specialist did not know how to do it. Never afraid of a challenge, m Coy Group was selected for the project.™
Services provided for this boundary-stretching project:
- Engineer, fabricate and install fixtures and décor;
- Develop new fabrication methods to create a compound curve Corian® top; and
