Web Room

Blue Nile is the largest online retailer of certified diamonds and fine jewelry. They were the first to sell diamonds online in 1999 and have helped turn moments into memories ever since. A strategy was developed to enhance the Blue Nile brand presence and name recognition employing a physical presence without high overhead. The resulting web room (mini showroom) is the first of its kind and provides a very unique experience for the shopper. The jewelry on display is not for sale; shoppers can try them on, inspect the gem’s quality up close, but completing a purchase requires a visit to Blue Nile’s website.

The challenge was to create an inviting store environment within a very small and limited space. This chic web room is approximately 350 square feet. Main fixtures consist of a long glass showcase, a consultation desk and a try-on table, along with a stunning wall feature that incorporates a bank of monitors, decorative wall panels and color changing RGB LED lights.
